:) WE ARE LOOKING FOR A WORK AWAY FROM 20-28 AUGUST 2026 :)

We are an Irish Polish family, living in a colourful village in Beara, West Cork, Ireland. Pawel is an Artist and Emma is a Community worker.

    What We Need:
People who have experience with children. Our children are our no.1 consideration when meeting a new Workaway. We would prefer if you have references from previous hosts for this reason.
We are looking for friendly, sociable and energetic work-away's to come and help out at home, cleaning and cooking, day to day tasks, interacting with the kids, making a garden and getting involved with voluntary art and music projects from time to time.

Our village has a vibrant community and there may be opportunities from time to time to volunteer at some community events for example, the local festival in July, marathons and cycling events.

    About you:
If you love to explore, socialise and are not afraid to get outdoors in the rain. This is for you!
By all means, a healthy balance of work, play and rest is vital but please use your time here to explore the peninsula and enjoy time in the kitchen with the family, playing games, cooking, baking and conversing.

    Your space:
You will have your own bedroom room with a desk and place to put your clothes and things. We believe it is important for you to have your own space, to close the door and have some chill time. Please don't spend all your free time in your room. There must be a balance.

We are an active and busy family, with all of the noise and chaos that comes with it, so understanding of family with children is a must. You are an influence to our children so come and share good vibes!

    The Village:
We live in the village of Eyeries, there is a daily bus service to Kenmare, Co Kerry and to Bantry, Co Cork and to the local town, Castletownbere. The village has a cafe, 2 pubs, 2 shops, and a post office for all your essentials. Drumming, yoga, dance and other workshops go on locally.
We are on the Wild Atlantic Way and there are many walking routes and coasts to explore. An outdoor enthusiasts dream place.

What to expect when you arrive here:
    With every visit we learn.
We have a little information pack with things to know about our home and with bus timetables.
We will schedule your work hours and times so that you can arrange your time to travel and explore outside of your work schedule.

    Musicians welcome!
We are musicians and play music locally and also with a band, Non Toxic Orchestra, at events, so you would be welcome to join in with us, whether for playing or simply enjoying.

    Meals:
Main meals are provided. Any extra snacks/plant based milks/ speciality vegan food etc.. please supply for yourself.
We have name labels for any food you buy for yourself.
    Meat:
We eat meat for dinner (though not every day). If you wish to eat meat for breakfast and lunch, you must purchase for yourself.
    Dairy
    We eat dairy.

We have been welcoming Workaways since 2024, in our previous location and this - all experiences have been good ones.
