Looking for some help around the house, with cooking, the garden and for a little bit of childcare in Killarney. We are also planning to move house and need somebody who is helping with packing and unpacking boxes. When I am working our boy goes to a crèche 3 days a week. You would be helping out minding him on the other 2 days. He is very active and loves arts and crafts. There are times when I need to meet somebody on a Saturday for 1 to 2 hours, that could be another time when you would be looking after our boy.
I am very passionate about Ireland and tourism and have a very active life style. I love the Irish country side and being outdoors. Killarney offers so much for outdoor lovers (walking, cycling, hiking, golfing, fishing) We like to bring our 2.5 year old boy out on walks, to the beach or to the playground in the Killarney National Park. I run a busy tourism company and have always lots to do and organize. My partner is also extremely busy with his work. The ideal person should be female and should have a bit of experience in childcare, she should be very organized and enthusiastic, very interested in cooking, flexible, openminded, reliable friendly and a non-smoker.
It is very important to us to have a very outgoing workawayer who is very sociable and has an interest in Tourism.
There might be days when there are more than 5 hours work required. We do pay all extra hours and you do have an opportunity to explore the area as we will organise outings for you. Work is required on some Saturdays but not every Saturday, there is no work required on a Sunday

We live in one of the most beautiful areas in the South West of Ireland. It is only a 10 minutes walk into the busy town center of Killarney with plenty of shops, boutiques, Pubs and Restaurants and many amazing Hotels (you will find some of the nicest hotels in Killarney) . The area we live is very quiet but very close to the town center. Killarney is surrounded by mountains and lakes. The 100 km² Killarney National Park is also nearby so there is plenty to do (Boat trips, Walking, Cycling, Hiking,). The beaches are only 40 minutes drive away. Train Connections to Cork and Dublin are very good. You will not be bored here. Another option would be to go to the Killarney English School if you want to improve your English (the school is not too far away)
The hours are a bit flexible as we have always lots to do. You will need to help with a bit of housework: do a bit of laundry, hoover and do most of the cooking. And you will probably also help with moving house. Packing and unpacking boxes. We like to eat very healthy. I like to have everything tidy and organized. Morning tasks could be preparation of meals, organising cupboards and drawers and a bit of laundry or it could be some typing work in the office. Or your could be looking after our boy for 2 to 3 hours. I am always interested in meeting new people and I love this country. I am in Ireland now for over 12 years. We can work around times occassionally if you want to do other things but most tasks need to be done between Monday and Friday (8.30 am - 12.30 pm and sometimes 5:30 - 6:30 pm) as those are our busiest hours. Weekends are generally your days off and there is always something to do in Killarney. We might need you on a Saturday to look after our boy for 1 to 2 hours. We pay all the extra hours (we do have busy periods where you could be working more than 5 hours)
Comfortable room with your own bathroom opposite the bedroom . You are welcome to use sitting room and kitchen as you need to and we hope you'll feel at home to do so. Of course we expect that you clean up after yourself!
We try to eat healthy home cooked meals where possible and to eat food with very little sugar and very little wheat products. It would be great if you had a big interest in healthy cooking as I do require you to cook as well. We do cook during busy times Sundays or Mondays and freeze some food as it saves a lot of time
On your time off there is walking, fishing, cycling, mountain climbing and beautiful scenery. If you are into photography the Killarney National Park is amazing. Dingle is only 60 minutes away. I am always exploring new sight seeing attractions and I am very happy to show you a few places around the South West of Ireland
