    Description

    Dear Workaway Travellers,

I live with my extended family on a small horse farm in the north of Bavaria. We practice westernstyle riding and natural horsemanship. Our tiny village is surrounded by beautiful nature, with many forests and hills. The next little town is within 4 km distance, with bigger cities at about 50 km.

I'd like to host a DIY handyman/woman who likes horses and helping in and around the farm with repairs, upkeeping, and keeping company and looking after dog, cat, and older horses, that are retired from the small riding school that I operate on the side but the activities of which are NOT part of the WorkAway duties. In exchange for your efforts, we can offer German languange exchange, taking part to our family life, experiencing the culture of Bavaria and, should you be interested, and learn more about horses and natural horsemanship. If intersted, WorkAwayers will enjoy meals and family activities with us# and we always enjoy a game night!

For the best experience for everyone, I kindly ask for a stay of at least 3 weeks.

    So possibly see you soon!?

    Always have a safe travel!

    Help

I will be looking after the working horses and western riding school while you will be helping with the other animals (dog, cat, and retired horses). This includes feeding, cleaning (animals and their dwellings), and cuddling. While every day is different, usually, in the morning, we work from 8 for 1.5 - 2 hours before breakfast, then about 1 hour after breakfast. In the afternoon the animals, dwellings and food will be prepared for the night - which takes also about 1 hour. The Rest of the time can be filled with work in the garden , the house or somthing else, as needed.
