  Description

  Hello and welcome to our little slice of paradise in Tuscany! We are Federico, Franco and Ombretta, and we’re looking for a friendly and guest to help us with some tasks around our home.
  
  Our property is located in a small, peaceful town just 20 minutes from the historic city of Lucca. Surrounded by fields and natural beauty, it's the perfect place to unwind, explore, and experience authentic Italian living. There are plenty of natural and cultural attractions nearby, and we’re happy to help you discover them during your stay.
  
  You’ll also have the pleasure of spending time with our lovely grandpa, who brings so much joy to our home. He loves to joke around and share stories, and he’s always happy to have new people around.
  
  We love our house but it requires a lot of work to be kept tidy, especially the garden. this is the reason we would love to have a friendly help around our house, to share stories and culture. This is our fist time as hosts and we would like to have the volunteer for about 1 to 2 weeks, with the possibility to extend the stay longer if needed.
  
  During summer we are used to lighting up our wood oven and cook incredible pizza, focaccia and more.
  
  We also love outdoor activities and our son is a climber, about every week he go out on a crag for a full climbing day.

  you will enjoy discovering cultural and natural places all around Tuscany.

  Help

  We need help with maintaining our garden and vegetable patch, taking care of our chickens, and keeping the house clean. If you have experience in gardening or general maintenance, that would be fantastic, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are just as important!
  
  The common works to be done are: cleaning the house, cutting grass, watering the plants etc.. we also have some other bigger works to related to the garden and in general the outside of the house. Like pruning the hedge, fixing the roof of our garage, cleaning the wood of the patio and more.... You will never be alone in doing these bigger activities.
  
  We would like to have a young workawayer indicatively 20-27 yo who is eased in manual working and general cleaning. Even better if you enjoy cooking (and eating 😋). We welcome vegetarian and vegan since we mostly eat vegetarian and once we will have our veggie garden fully operative we will taste incredible veggies all summer!

  Accommodation

  We offer you a spacious, comfortable room with plenty of privacy, with shared bathroom, kitchen and common areas. Ideal for relaxing or working remotely if needed. You’ll have your own space to retreat to, but also be part of our warm and welcoming family.

  What else ...

  During free time you can enjoy walking or cycling around the surrounding areas. You are more than welcomed if you are a climber. Our son loves climbing and he go out with friends every weekend. This area is really rich of crags of any kind just 40-50min by car from the house.

  You will have your own room and a desk where you can comfortably work with natural light. Wifi connection is not the best but it works for most of the general tasks. Our son also works from home and he has no problem.
