Description
Hi There
I would love to host you in my cute little cottage in the country in Waiuku, rural South Auckland. Here I love to live a healthy peaceful lifestyle, and grow lots of different plants, flowers, vegetables, fruit, etc. I also have a couple of beehives, and some lovely horses.
I'm very close to Waiuku township, Karioitahi beach, and the beautiful Awhitu peninsula.
At the moment I have a number of creative woodwork/ shed converting projects that I would really love some help with from some people who are experienced in this type of work. And also all the usual garden fun and paddock maintenance things too.Types of help and learning opportunities

I am approximately 1 hour south of central Auckland. There are some beautiful parks and beaches nearby which I can tell you about.
It would be fun to share my love of nature, plants and animals, natural gardening, healthy seasonal produce and meals from my garden , my hobbies of bee keeping, horse loving, dance, music, art, my love of the sea, and maybe even some sports like badminton and pickle ball if you'd like. Exchange culture (I can speak a little German and Spanish), recipes, cooking, food, fun and just joy in life.
I like to live a clean healthy lifestyle (tho do love to bake and have a bit of a sweet tooth) it would be lovely if you enjoy being healthy, taking care of nature, being as waste free as possible, and love to be peaceful and enjoy life.Help
I would love to welcome energetic, happy, environmentally conscious people to help mostly in my garden, and also there may be some paddock maintenance, DIY, shed building, and home care/maintenance if needed.
We will be doing tasks together and also with the help of some of my fantastic friends, so you have the opportunity to learn some gardening skills and gain some great natural growing knowledge and also some DIY skills.Languages

I can speak a little German and Spanish, I'd love the chance to practise with you if you'd likeAccommodation
Accommodation is either a very comfortable room in my house looking out onto the beautiful gardens. You have your own lounge and we share bathroom facilities. The room has a queen bed so is suitable for 1-2 people, with the option of sleeping up to 4 people total by adding another bed into the private lounge area (please contact me to discuss this). I prefer a minimum two people at the same time, so couples and friends preferred. I also have a lovely sleep out in the garden with a couch, queen bed, water and sink and a little deck available for workawayers to stay in . I usually try to have a number of workawayers staying at the same time so the rooms are full and we get to have more fun and cultural and social interactions together.
I have ample, safe, off street parking if you have a caravan you would like to use.
5 Hours of help per day in return for accommodation, healthy homegrown and homemade breakfast, lunch, dinner (please bring your own snacks and treats).
Bed linen and towels are provided
My place is free from drugs, cigarettes, vapes, and excess alcohol. Please respect this thank you. What else ...
I would recommend you have your own vehicle/method of transport as I am in a rural area and there is not a lot of public transport.
