Description
We are a family of 5. Lauge 8 Aske 12 Bjørk 15 and parents Eliane 45and Mads 46 We like to spend time together, playing, enjoying nature, swimming in the summer, and growing our own organic vegetables. We speak Danish in the family but all the family understand and speak English too. We have been traveling a lot ourselves and love to meet people from other parts of the world and learn about politics and lifestyle. We moved out of central Copenhagen a 10 years ago - and we are now living on a renovated 300 sqm family farm originally from 1811. The farm is now a hobby project with a few sheeps, and a large organic vegetable garden which we are currently working on. We eat mainly vegetarian but also fish, chicken and lamb from our own small heards.
We are situated in a small village in the beautiful Danish countryside approximately 1 hour south west of Copenhagen. The beach is a pleasant 6 km bike ride away and forest and fields are just outside the door.Types of help and learning opportunities

We have renovated the entire house during the past 9 years including 2 guest bedrooms in the one end of ground floor. So you will have a cozy bedroom with a view of the garden. It’s nice and quiet and you won’t hear the family in the morning. You’ll have access to a bathroom on the same floor. We sleep upstairs and have a second bathroom here. You’ll of course also have access to high speed internet.
We are working as self-employed psychologist (Eliane) and Business Director in a media company (Mads) Our days normally start around 6:30 getting the kids ready for school and kinder garden around 8. We both primarily works from home but will go to the nearby towns every week where there is easy access to Copenhagen 45 min by train 3-4 times pr. hour. What else ...
Eliane works sometime in Slagelse so you'll be able to ride with her to and from the train station 20 min away in the Town Slagelse. From here it’s easy to reach both Copenhagen (50 min) and other parts of Denmark by train. Other public transportation from the village where we live to towns close by (Slagelse, Skælskør and Næstved) is available with a 3-5 km bikeride to and from the bus.
