Julian is truly awesome. We passed 2 great weeks with him, and time passed really quickly. … read more responsible, and wanting to help. He stayed home 24 hours alone being responsible for the 3 kids and we never felt worried. Communication was always super easy. Kids miss you a lot, hope you will visit soon!
Stéphanie and Charles were wonderful hosts! They were very welcoming and I felt like part of the family right away. Manu, Éloi and Théo are so nice, funny and definitely won't let you get bored. We had a lot of fun! I went skiing with them had outdoor adventures and enjoyed funny talks at dinner. My help, which was mostly giving the kids rides and
… read more helping with the household was absolutely doable and fair. Manu and I hung out a lot and laughed. Éloi helped me with my pronunciation (even tho I was a terrible student haha). And Theo and I baked lots of delicious cookies together. There is so much more amazing I could write about this family, but this would go beyond the scope. I will miss them and definitely gonna visit them again! Bye
It was Wiktoria first workaway, and we are glad she chose our family! Everything went really smoothly. It was winter time, so we mainly needed help with inside chores. Wiktoria did a lot of cooking (a lot of portions!) and the kids were very grateful to taste differents great dishes that she made completely independent. She is a very organized

Stephanie and her family were my very first Workaway experience and I am grateful for every moment I got to spend with her family. My goal was to be a part of the family here and I was. … read more was taking pictures in the snow with Elois or rating my cooked food with Manu. (German schnitzel was the winner, by the way, they particularly liked it). I was simply treated very lovingly. Stephanie always went out of her way to make sure we could do something nice and Charles was also super nice and always helped me whenever I had questions. The work every day was fair and I have no complaints. My tasks were mainly cooking and cleaning and occasionally I took the boys out in the car or picked them up, but Stephanie is very open to requests. I can really recommend the family and the region they live in is wonderful for hiking and exploring.
Thank you for having me for two weeks. I will miss you very much, but will certainly not forget you and will keep updating you on my further travels. <3

Les tâches étaient à la portée de tous, toujours dans une ambiance détendue, sans stress ni pression. Ils m’ont fait confiance dès le début, ce qui m’a permis de profiter pleinement de cette belle aventure. Ils ont également été très arrangeants pour que je puisse visiter et voyager selon mes envies.
Que ce soit pour explorer les alentours ou partager des moments en famille, j’ai vécu une expérience humaine et enrichissante.

They adapted very quickly to our lifestyle and work on many different projects: landscaping, gardening, trail maintenance, assisting in construction, taking care of the
… read more teenager, cooking etc. They are positive, work with great autonomy, have energy and work well has a team. They truly enjoyed working outdoor which is great because we leave a little remmoted surrounded by nature. Communication was always super easy and I always feel I can trust them with everything we agreed.
They were our first vegan workawayers (so even if it worried us a bit before their stay...), I can tell than this is not an issue at all. They are very open to cook and plan their own meals with basic ingredients (not fussy!). If you are willing to share their diet they will be more than happy to cook (they are fantastic cook!) for your amazing dishes (they are expert in asian vegan food).

We stayed for almost 3 weeks. We enjoyed the work and it was very varied so we never got bored.

… read more understand the arguments! Theo, the youngest, made us smoothies which we loved! We also loved pizza night with the family and spending the evenings together.
Stéphanie was very accommodating of our dietary requirements (vegan) and made us delicious food. (although I'm sure the boys will be happy to have a break from tofu now we have left!). They also very generously allowed us to use the car and e-bikes in our time off to explore the local area. Stéphanie had lots of great recommendations of places to visit.
We spent some time working at their nearby off grid cabin with was AMAZING!
We really did have a great time here and couldn't recommend it enough. We hope to visit again in the future!
P.s We miss their cat Bazou already!!

This was our very first WorkAway experience.
We stayed with Stéphanie's family for a month. Me and my brother (with whom I shared this experience) didn't really have any idea of what we could expect, but I think that, from now on, we will mostly travel using WorkAway.

The work is really not that much, she makes you do what you're confortable doing, we mostly did gardening and cooking, and we also went to hikings, soccer games, table games, waterfalls, fairs etc. with the kids. You cannot get bored with them, they'are always up to something!
Charles took us to his cabin, a very remote location in the woods, it was amazing and the view was fantastic!
Overall we had an amazing experience which helped us getting out of our bubble of comfort zone and I surely can recommend this family!You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.
