    Description

Hello travelers, my name is Socratis, I am 35 addicted to anything earthy. I live in the hills of Paphos with my partner Jemma and our son Perseas. We try to live fully off the grid.

We build with natural materials, grow food by the principles of natural farming, collect rainwater, regenerate the soil and the ecosystems and generally try to practise harmonious-to the rules of nature living.

We have managed to have 3 sleeping units by now. The one made out of cob, (main building), one made out of wood and one with wattle and daub and compressed earth blocks. We are now in the process of building a workshop for all sorts of woid microprojects.

We take care of many olive and almond trees and some other trees that are in the property.

We would love to host people who are interested in natural building, natural farming and generally sustainability and natural living. If not, we welcome anyone who is willing to learn and has appetite for hard work.

We enjoy hosting responsible, reliable and independent people.

Most of the jobs here require strength and endurance so be aware of that before you send me a message.

    More :

    1) You don't cut flowers
    2) You don't step on garden beds and close to tree or veg roots. We always use the paths
    3) Spring to Autumn we are aware of the chance of meeting snakes (some venomus).
    4) Toilet is compost
    5) Shower is outdoors and we heat water when is not warming up from the sun (nov-march)
    6) you have your own bedroom, the rest we share.
    7) if you bring soaps, make sure they are a product of natural ingredients
