    Description

Bonjour and nice to meet you!
we are creating a Permaculture and Yoga farm in the most rural nature park in France, surrounded by forests, lakes and soft mountains.

We’re Hannah and Pascal from Germany who recently bought an ancient farm with a renovated house and many outbuildings on a 3,5ha property - on the outskirts of a little village, directly connected to the forest, a lake and well nourished by two little streams running through the property.

We are non-profit - aiming to grow and sustain this little oasis. Looking forward to share this place with more and more people. We’re not doing anything for business as we’re just in the process of setting up the land as a homestead and later on for non-profit gatherings.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

Our vision is to create a sustainable and scalable living concept which goes, in different ways, beyond the normal "western" lifestyle.

If you want to experience a different way of living and an approach to life which goes beyond what we are told and taught in the western society, a playful life full of meaning, this is your place to come.

As we are deeply involved into traditional Yoga Practices and both of us are Yoga teacher, you are most welcome to join our daily routines or get some guidance deepening or developing Yoga practices for yourself - making use to these ancient tools in the aim of living a meaningful, purposeful, fulfilled, balanced, intense and joyful life. 🕉️

In the field of permaculture Hannah is a Permaculture Designer, happy to introduce you into the principles we implemented so far and also happy to learn more about it. 🌳🌱🌀

We love to share life experiences and life lessons on your and our way, discussing how people and the world function, how we can live a joyful and fulfilling life, sharing and learning international meals & music. Learning from each other and broadening each others horizons 🚀

Depending on your interests we are keen on taking you on swims to the nearby lake, showing you beautiful hikes in the area (or if you bring your downhill/mountainbike there is the biggest network of biking tracks here), connecting you with our tree friends or our French and English neighbours, taking you to the most delicious Crêpe Restaurant nearby, to local markets and festivities and well, let’s be creative :)

For your days off it’s fun to take the train to Brive la Gaillarde with it’s beautiful old town, go for a canoe trip on one of the surrounding rivers, hike to a stunning and healing lake, travel to the Dordogne Gorge, the waterfalls of Gimel, to one of the ancient churches or castles and many more highlights.

  • Help

    Help

    - creative tasks
    - gardening
    - creating stuff with wood or stones is optional if you’re keen on that
    - permaculture design
    - tell us what you’d like to spend your energy on :)

We’ll be around to do tasks alongside you and share our skills in the field of gardening, permaculture, yoga/inner science and cooking.
But you will not have to do tasks in the area of renovation and wood work as for these bigger projects there will be craftsmen/women around or skilled family and friends.

Most important to us is enjoying what we do - that’s what we wish for people helping us growing our farm, too 🤍

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

You will be accommodated in a room in our main house with a bed as well as shared bathrooms & kitchen or - as per your convenience - there’s always the possibility to stay in a tent or bring your van ☀️

Meals (delicious and with high variety and nutrition) are provided by us or friends/volunteers - we follow a mostly vegan to vegetarian diet and won’t buy meat - but if you prefer to cook your own food we’ll surely find a good solution:)) If you have any allergies or preferences let us know and we’ll adjust!
In case you're worried about eating mostly vegan food - so far, every meat loving person enjoyed our meals (even Pascal’s Dad who was very worried about his survival ;)).

  • What else ...

    What else ...

The next town (small supermarket, post office, bakery, restaurant, farmers market) is 5 mins by car or 20 mins by foot. The lake for swimming is reachable by foot and we’re happy to take you to other places in the area.

You can reach Brive la Gaillard (direct train connection from Paris) . Tulle is easily reachable by train from Bordeaux or Brive la Gaillarde and even closer to our place. We would be happy to pick you up in Tulle. The closest train station is Gare de Corrèze.
If Tulle is hard to reach for you we are open to find a suitable solution.
