Description
Welcome! 🧑🌾
We are a permaculture family farm engaged in ecological production🏡. Permaculture is an approach that aims to create self-sustaining, productive systems that mimic natural processes and are environmentally and socially responsible🌍. We apply this approach in our daily lives as well as in the fields of agriculture and animal husbandry🌱. We use diversity and polycultures, incorporate animals and their waste into the system, and practice recycling♻️. In this way, we create a system that supports natural processes and improves the soil over time.
Our journey started when my wife and I began looking for healthy food🥗 to feed our son🚼. As we explored the food world, we realized how we were being poisoned by all the artificially packaged foods. Unfortunately, our surroundings are full of so-called “healthy vegetables and fruits” grown with herbicides, pesticides, fungicides, and chemical fertilizers that destroy the soil, water, and the air we breathe☣️. During this journey, our dear friends Mustafa and Berfu, who share the same worries, dreams, and hopes with us, joined along the way. Together we have become a small, productive, and cooperative little community, and we feel so lucky to have found each other and to grow side by side💚.
That’s when we discovered Permaculture, and our lives changed completely💡. We decided to find a piece of land where we could afford to live a healthy, sustainable, and regenerative life. And we found it🎯. Although we are still at the beginning of our work, we have already come a long way. For now, we produce mainly for our family’s needs, and our friends and volunteers join us and support our efforts. We believe that the success of our farm carries an important social message for a sustainable world📣🌍.
That’s why we love to share our experiences as rural pioneers. By visiting our farm, you can witness ecological production methods and the permaculture approach up close✌️.
Welcome all of you to our Permaculture Farm! 🌿

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
During this visit, you will have detailed information about ecological production and permaculture applications, both theoretically and practically.🌾 You'll also become familiar with the local culture of consumption and production. ☘️At the farm, you will gain experiences about Cypriot food and beverage culture and daily life in the countryside.🧑🌾

Help
Our philosophy in general is to leave it as you found it. Stuff that are used both in the house and outside at the garden are expected to be cleaned and put in place after used.🧹
The help needed is both in the house as housework, cooking and cleaning and in the garden; which are seasonal garden and farm works. 🍲
For example, chicken feeding (which we don`t have yet), composting, mowing, mulching, planting, harvesting, cleaning of garden beds, cutting wood and minor repairs..🛠️
