Description
*****House sitter needed from 26 December 2025 for one week — with the possibility to stay on after I return*****
I am a Registered Nurse from Liverpool, and have lived in Spain for 6 years now. I'm chilled, happy and friendly.
Sometimes I work away from home, you should be comfortable to be alone for up to 2 weeks at a time.
I offer meals or food: choice of Vegan, Vegetarian or Organic Meat. I can cook or you can cook and use anything in the fridge.
I'm not sure if I can cater for you if you have allergies, medical contraindications or intolerances. Let's talk about it though.
I don’t smoke, drink or take drugs. It's ok if you smoke (on the terrace).
Happy to discuss you coming to stay, so get in touch.

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
Salobreña is a coastal town in Granada. It’s lively in the summer and quiet in the winter.
The house is just a 5-minute walk from the beach and town centre.
You can enjoy peace and quiet or immerse yourself in local Spanish life. There is a cultural centre and a library nearby, with plenty of cafés, bars, supermarkets, and social events.
The town has weekly markets, rastros, and a monthly eco-market.
Granada, Málaga, and Almería are all easy to reach by bus.
I also have a car and can take you to nearby places with a little notice.
When I’m home, I often travel to Órgiva for yoga.
Help
December '25-the house is an ongoing project, I am looking for people to do light DIY, keep place clean, organising cupboards/draws, looking after plants, sweeping, moving light furniture, drilling, putting up shelves, curtain poles, moving furniture.
You will contribute up to 5 hours a day, for 5 days.
You're also expected to keep the place clean and help with cooking.

Happy to help you improve your English. I’m keen to learn more Spanish.
Accommodation
Spanish townhouse with your own private bedroom and newly renovated bathroom.
You’ll sleep downstairs, I sleep upstairs. The house has a terrace with views over the town and the sea in the distance, plus an outdoor kitchen and seating area. You’re welcome to use the washing machine. Please note: there are steps leading up to the house.
What else ...
The house is in a quiet area of town, 5 mins walk to the beach with a park next door. It's 15 minute walk to the bus stop with routes to Granada, Málaga, and Almería. Granada’s Alhambra is less than an hour away and Sierra Nevada Mountains are just over an hour’s drive, where there's skiing and hiking.
