Hi, I’m Melody, a 25 year old living in Alaska. I like to look for Workaways in my off season (October-February).


My recent travels took me on a 1300 mile long, self supported cycling trip from Nova Scotia to Maryland. I am a very motivated individual and in my time off am hoping to explore some new countries off the bike and meet amazing people.

I am very task oriented individual who loves meeting people and working hard.

I worked at a daycare for several years and enjoy spending time with children. I also mentored for Big Brothers Big Sisters for a year with a nine-year old girl.

I like to cook, bake and keep tidy spaces. I also know how to knit, crochet, and sew and am willing to teach you the basics.

I tend a garden in my local community garden and am willing to do similar tasks.

I spend a lot of time outside leading cycling tours in the summer so I enjoy physical jobs that incorporate movement into my day.
