  • Description

    Hello everyone!

My name is Laura, I was born and raised in Austria. I’ve been solo backpacking and traveling on & off for the past 8 years, living in Indonesia for about 3 years during that time and am now finally at a point where I feel like it’s time to settle down and give something back to the world after being able to take so many beautiful experiences and lessons in.

My dream is to find a little piece of land that I can call my home and also create a sustainable safe space where other travelers, artists and open minded people who wish to live a life of fulfillment, peace and harmony can come together.

So currently I’m on a journey of scouting for this right spot for me and also achieve certain skills (like farming and gardening, animal care, basic construction and building skills) that I feel I still need to make my vision come true.
I’m hoping to find likeminded people though this platform who are interested to share their experiences whether good or bad with projects that seem similar to what I’d like to create in the upcoming years. I’m looking forward to exchange stories and learn from everyone who is willing to share. :)

I’d like to help and learn about growing and harvesting fruit and vegetables, caring for animals, simple diy or building tasks and overall farm work and sustainability.

I’m very flexible and easy going in general and always keen to learn any new skills so I’m happy to help wherever it’s needed really. Weather it’s with giving some input and ideas or just cleaning the dirty dishes after a long day.

  • What else ...

I’m a friendly and open minded person, always up for a joke and having a fun time.
Traveling and moving to a country with a completely different culture, language and way of living by myself taught me a lot and made me very accepting and understanding. It’s easy for me to adapt to all kinds of situations and I like to take things how they come and grow further from all good and bad ones.

I enjoy having deep conversations over a glass of wine and connect with people from everywhere in the world but I also need time to myself to read a book in a hammock or work on my own projects. I’m always up for new experiences and ideas.
I like to be outdoors and to be around natural waters and I like to go bouldering sometimes.
I feel like I always have too many projects and ideas at the same time so it can be slightly chaotic but definitely never boring ;)

I’m looking forward to meet everyone reading this :)
