    Description

In steady search for interesting perspectives to enrich the neighbourhood around.

In terms of trust building in the society, we have farmers, and even a construction equipment dealer in the area, who sell their products through true self service, for the public, all 24 hours a day.

But to reach the former type of trust, like we had earlier, enough to leave our homes welcoming with food for guests during summer leaves. Then we might still have something to work on.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

Travelers will get as much immersed as they like into the culture life of Jamtland, which for long time has acted as a bridge between Norway and Sweden, with shifting juridical nationalities during the centuries, but still very strong empathic connections between people in east Tröndelag, and the rest of Tröndelag with Trondheim as the residence city.

Especially during the summer, the culture life is flowering with a lot of activities at the heritage centre of the area Undersåker. Hay fencing activities and "surströmmingspremiär" is part of our amusements.

Physically demanding tasks might be wood processing, hall building and pole planing for the spring. Latter part of summer would partly be dedicated, to the tradition of harvesting hay, with the technique of drying the grass on a stack, and thereby create a generally higher quality of it than just dryed on the ground, which is less work demanding and therefore popular method. The stack hay is widely apprechiated for its green dry quality, which usually smells fresher and richer than the two other, more common drying techniques, which in Scandinavia is on field ground and in barn.

A possible more mentally demanding task would be to contribute with a creative mind to the interactive musical with planned performance after finnishing of the wood hall in construction. With the main objective of mutual understanding it can simply be described as a mixture between a dialogue and a theatre.

Geographically situated 170 km east of Trondheim and 90 km west of Östersund. A quite new smoothly running electrical train is commuting in west-east direction between Storlien in west and Sundsvall in east. Example: Take a flight to Trondheim Airport and the norwegian older and noisier train can take you to Storlien, change to the electrical Norrtåg and in around an hour you arrive in Undersåker station.

In the Swedish culture we have a freedom of speech, and I may incourage you to use it during your stay. Potentially needed for lettting your creativity flow in the process of executing parts which aims towards the main objective.
