We have a community farm which is located in Humboldt County California, situated in the Eel river valley, within 45 min drive to the coast, yet inland just enough where the sun shines most of the time. The Community Park Farm is a well established organic farm that produces summer and winter vegetable crops, and some fruit, such as melons and strawberries. Through a state grant, the Park partners with other local farms to provide fresh food to low income families in the area. We participate in the local farmers market and sell produce to stores and restaurants. We take great pride in contributing to local sustainable food production. We are currently undergoing some exciting developments to incorporate more community volunteer days, kids activities and apply principles of permaculture design and regenerative agriculture.
Help is needed immediately!! Any length of time is acceptable, though long term is desirable. Possible RV is in the works, otherwise camping at the Park is a highly elevated experience! We will work with you if you are willing to work with us and make this season happen -- please inquire for more details on food, accommodations, etc... Join us, be inspired, learn, teach, expand horizons!!

As of now camping is our only form of accommodation, we will provide a nice tent and basic facilities. Work is underway to provide an RV/travel trailer on site.
The towns of Garberville and Redway are minutes from the Park and provide all the basic amenities, grocery stores, restaurants, gas stations, farmers market, theater, shops. From town you can take public transportation along HWY 101 to the North County, or South to Mendocino County. Explore the ancient redwood forests, swim in the Eel river, take a short ride out to the Lost Coast for whale watching, surfing and general relaxation on the beach.
