Close to Vancouver, we would love you join us at our 7-acre riverside eco-retreat:). We no longer operate our eco retreat as a business, rather, we just live here.

At present we need help doing some landscaping, trail building, and some general maintenance stuff like painting , etc

We live in an awesome natural paradise so close to Vancouver! We are right on the river... we are right beside a Provincial Park, hiking trails around us, we have a bike for casual riding, and there are two swimming lakes close by (summer).

It is a perfect area for anyone who likes photography, being in nature, and likes being in a family-like environment (though we have no children living at home). We live together like a family during the day with a small sleeping cabin for volunteers at night.

If you are a foodie and love to cook, it would be most welcome..we eat well here...and we have wifi, tv, mobile phone service. We will share our knowledge as much as you wish:

This is our 12th year as a hosts but we’ve been away traveling a lot.

Getting here is by bus.

We are an hard-working couple, and love to play games hike, and read in our spare time.

Sue and Henry were our first work away hosts, and it was a good experience joining them for our first time. They tought us alot about gardening and the area and Sue is also very well versed with nutritional information which we liked. They were easy to talk to and great people to talk about Canadian culture and history and they never pushed you too hard with the work. Located in a beautiful spot near a regional park and close to town, this was a great couple weeks to spend in BC.
