Description
Hi! We are a small team bringing new life to a peaceful guesthouse and hostel in Tulum, focused on rest, well-being, and authentic hospitality.
We want this to be a safe place for everyone. We work hard to build something that will be loved and to do so, we need help. Mostly to take housekeeping and cleaning, and some activities at reception. Minimum stay of a month, the longer you are willing to stay the better.

Help
We’re looking for responsible, respectful, and cheerful people who enjoy collaborating in a relaxed environment. Main tasks include housekeeping, cleaning and a few front desk tasks, and/or supporting wellness-related activities (depending on your skills and interests).
We love welcoming volunteers with a positive attitude, clear communication, and a sense of community. The atmosphere here is calm and friendly — we’re not a party hostel, but rather a place where people come to rest, work peacefully, or reconnect with what’s essential.
Requirements:
-5 hours of help per day, 5 days a week.
-Minimum stay of 4 weeks.
-Proactive and responsible attitude.
-Intermediate to advanced English. Basic Spanish preferred.
-Previous experience in hospitality and/or housekeeping is a plus.
-Ideal if you’re interested in: well-being, hospitality, conscious living, multicultural exchange, nature, yoga, or art.
Be aware, as a volunteer, you will represent our hostel. Please contact us only if you think that you can be friendly with guests but also professional and respect boundaries.
The hostel is a vegetarian place, no cooking meat nor fish.
The quiet time starts at 11pm and guests and volunteers need to be either inside their room or outside. No one is allowed in the common area during this time.

The work varied depending on the shift but typically included general upkeep, changing beds, cleaning showers and toilets, check-ins/outs, taking payments and providing guests with information & recommendations. This amounted to 24hrs of work per week in exchange for accommodation and a… read more
