  • Description

I’m an experienced bartender currently looking for opportunities to let that side of myself shine. I’m sweet and engaging with customers, level headed and adaptable through challenges, and quick to learn and quick in action. I’ve prioritized learning about classic cocktails because I know that a great foundation of traditional knowledge is key to being able to master creating original recipes. I’ve spent time working as a brewer and also have an above average understanding of beer and how taplines work.

I’ve had a history working with my hands and this helps to show how adaptable I am. I’ve worked in trades such as demolition, construction, welding, and farming. I’d be happy to use any of my skills to help out! I’ve devoted over 5 years of my life as a horticulturist and plants//gardening are something I will always value. I’m also enjoy foraging as a hobby. This aspect of my love of food is unique in that I like to follow ingredients from dirt to plate or glass. Learning of the many properties and flavors of food and medicine are something that I’m always striving to expand my knowledge on.

I also love to cook. I’ve spent some time cooking in restaurants but prefer making meals shared with friends and family. My creativity and knack for flavor combinations really flow together here. I love learning about recipes from other cultures and assisting young adults with learning to cook for the first time.

In my personal time, I love movement in so many forms. My priorities currently are walking and hiking in nature, yoga, rock climbing, and weight lifting but I do not limit myself to these. I love to try new things and am constantly trying to see the extent of what my body can do. I like working hard and hard labor is something that actually fulfills me as I believe a great day is one where my muscles are a little exhausted.

  • More details about your skills

I’m great with plants and absolutely love to garden. During the warm months I have had a very successful garden plot at my mother's horse farm. I've also spent a lot of time working with plants professionally. I have done traditional landscaping in the past but currently I work in interior and exterior plantscapes and design. I have the ability to design beautiful plots as well as care for and treat many different types of plants. Trees and shrubs included.

I have been riding horses since I was born. Or really, before that... my mum road until she was 8 months pregnant & then had me at 8 months. In that time, I have had the opportunity to experience many different styles of riding. I was raised as an English rider, then spent a lot of time focusing on Western showing. I have spent a lot of time finishing green horses and making sure that they're ready for riding lessons at my mother's farm and ready to show. There have also been ample opportunities for me to work with young horses and I am a firm believer in natural horsemanship. I've also done some jumping, reigning, cowboy mounted shooting, cow cutting. drill team, and more.

I have spent about 5 years working in kitchens. I managed a pizzeria for quite some time and also spent time as a sous chef for a kitchen at a luxury camp serving about 500 people a meal. This summer, I've also spent some time working in hospitality. I've been doing housekeeping for the local hotel.

I have a passion for working with my hands and construction projects. Although in this field, I consider myself to be mostly self taught: I’m particularly in love with mechanics. Especially motorcycles, my bike at home is so antique that most of the mechanics in the area will even work on it. I've trained in welding and demolition. I've also had jobs where I've had the opportunity to do some masonry, carpentry, and painting. I love experiences where I can expand my knowledge on these things. I'm particularly interested in sustainable structures such as Earth Ships and cob buildings.

I’m extremely multifaceted and have a tendency to melt well into any position that I’m in. I love learning more and having the ability to push my mind into places it's never been before. I believe that I have the capacity to learn and excel at anything given the correct environment for me to flourish.

    • Special dietary requirements
I typically eat a vegetarian diet but I can fluctuate if it's an inconvenience. I also have a gluten intolerance but all the best things have wheat in them so I do cheat at that more often than I'd like to admit.
