Hi, my name is Irene!

I'm from Spain, specifically Barcelona, I'm 27 years old and a primary teacher.
I started working with kids when I was a teenager by doing volunteering in summer camps and teaching after-school lessons. Now, I've got six years of experience as a teacher.

One of my biggest interests is art, I admire and practice art in its different forms and shapes. I love painting, taking pictures, writing, and dancing. I really enjoy reading, nature, and spending time with the ones I love.

I'm creative, hard worker, responsible, empathic, prudent, patient and friendly.

I want to experience new cultures and learn more about the little and big things you can only pick up by living in the respective country you travel to!!

I speak Spanish and Catalan which are my mother tongues as I grow up in Catalonia, Spain. That said, I would be delighted to share and teach more about the languages I speak. I have the B2 level in English and the C1 in communicating/speaking skills. As Spanish and Catalan come from the Latin language, I'm also able to understand the general context of languages such as Portuguese, Italian or French since they have many similarities and I took classes about some of them. I would also be interested in finding out and learning more about these languages and really witch ever language comes my way.

I'm really good at problem-solving, fast-thinking, and other related abilities that come with the teaching profession.

I always try to be creative in all of my projects and duties. I love and practice painting and doodling. I'm skilled in crafts and handmade things. Photography is one of my favorite hobbies, I love street and artistic photography, and I'm always aiming to improve my skills in this field.

I'm used to working with teammates and I really like lending a hand when needed. I am hardworking, methodical and I learn quickly, I am also open to any type of task that might come my way. I can help you with teaching, art projects and DIY, house and general maintenance, taking care of children, photography, editing, social media...
