Hey everyone, beautiful people !I am Evaggelos though friends just call me Vaggelis!
I was born and raised somewhere in northern Greece, where the sunshine, the sea breeze, and way too relaxed thoughts are part of daily life ! I studied Mechanical Engineering, started off as an electrician, and somehow ended up being a mix of builder, dreamer, and traveler with restless feet. Sooo!
I am that kind of guy who always finds joy in fixing things, cooking Greek dishes for friends, getting lost on purpose… and laughing about it later!
I love meaningful talks, random plans that turn into stories, and mostly meeting people who carry good energy..... the kind you feel before they even speak!
For me, WorkAway isn’t about cheap travel....to be honest, it started that way, but then I realized that connection is what truly matters... sharing work, stories, moments that make a difference, , and life with people who see the world with open eyes and an open heart.
So, if you ever need someone,,,curious without being intrusive but hands on, a bit more philosophical, and a little wild at heart… or just fun, spontaneous, and always ready to build, help, dance, or fully live life,then thats me!

Spanish 🙂 So… it wasn’t my passion at first ,, but it should be! I would really love some help with it. For me, learning a language is all about inspiration ,is about connecting and feeling the rhythm of a culture....and see the world through new eyes. I have always loved Latin music, the vibe, the warmth, the passion ,,and honestly, as a Greek, I think I already have a bit of that Latin soul in me. So yeah… learning Spanish feels like the next natural step! 🙂

What else ...

Somewhere between logic and laughter… that’s probably where I am.
And the motto?! We only get one ride, so better make it worth something! I like the moments that wake life up a bit… the random laugh, the meal that tastes better because of the people around it, the conversation that starts light and somehow ends up somewhere deeper at midnight.....I like the simple things, but never dull ones.
I am drawn to people who have something uniquely their own, something not easily explained.. People with humor, some spark, and that thing you can’t fake… when they shine from the inside and don’t need to prove it all the time.
I have built things, fixed things, travelled a lot, worked on Greek islands, in hotels and restaurants, taken care of animals ... especially cats ...and picked up stories everywhere I have been. Some people collect souvenirs… I think I collect moments and strange little memories. I am handson, free spirited, and usually ready to jump in build something and cook together,, or move around, or dance a little bit , or explore a place, or,,or,, or,,
So yes… good energy, real connection, and a bit of adventure ...that’s usually where I feel most at home. And if our paths cross, even better. Maybe it becomes something good and just one of those moments that stays with us more than expected.
