Hi everyone!
I'm Tabea, 26 years old from Germany and I just finished my studies in psychology. But before I dive into the 'real' work culture, I want to travel a bit (once again).

I love exploring new cultures and travelling! I am quite new on workaway, but I have spent a year in New Zealand as a WWOOFer which means that I have done the concept of work for room and board before. I worked on a vineyard for 3 months and was involved in tasks like gardening and weeding. I helped making the beds and prearing rooms in a hostel and I looked after 3 kids before. I also have a little brother who I look after really often in Germany. I am very organized and tidy and would love to be involved in different activities. I would love to learn more about the Australian culture and in return I can teach you a bit about the German culture if you want.

I would love to be involved in a local's household and in the best case have a cultural exchange to go with it. What brings me true happiness, is speaking foreign languages, such as English and French.

I spend 2 semesters abroad, one in Toulouse, France and the second in Montréal, Canada, so I would consider my level of French and English as quite good (but there's always room for improvement, of course ;))

As a wwoofer in New Zealand, I have already done the following activities: looking after children, gardening, painting several rooms, I worked on a vineyard for 3 months, for another 3 months I worked on a tourist attraction where there were hot springs and I cleaned the associated pools and sometimes I also cooked for the host family.
In general, I am very flexible and open when it comes to my working tasks and I also would love to teach people German or English!
I have a little brother who I often looked after before and in New Zealand I looked after my 3 host siblings and went with them to the playground and made other trips.
