Description
Hi there, my name is Sanne and I am a Dutch girl living in France. I am living here since 7 years togerther with my French boyfriend Maxime. We have 2 little girls named Loua and Indy. We both speak English, French and me and the girls speaks Dutch. We are living on the French ''campagne'' on a old farm with lots of place and a big garden with a swimmingpool. We also have some chickens, a roaster and 2 cats. We love spending as much time outside (in our garden) as possible. We have a garden full of raspberries, black currant, kiwis, red berries and some veggies.
I love to cook and bake pies when I am having enough time. We are both quiet busy during the week with our jobs and bringing the girls to daycare and school, but during the weekends we always try to spend time together, do fun things, have friends over etc.
We have a second floor where you will have your own space !Types of help and learning opportunities

We are very open and love to travel ourself. Almost 12 years ago we've met in Australia and since then we try to travel as much as possible. We love to get in touch with local people. We can teach you French, we can take you to some nice places in the area and let you discover the French cuisine (they eat frogs in our area, hihi).

Help
We would love to have a hand with some painting jobs. We have a big gate (outside) that has to be painted. We also would love to paint the floor inside the house (incl sanding ;-)).
For them available after september we could also use some help with the garden, cutting trees (experience would be good).
Furthermore we could use some help in the household. Think about preparing/cleaning the table, cooking or cleaning the house.
You could also help us with the girls.Languages spoken

As I've already mentioned shortly above, we have the 2nd floor that you can use all for yourself. Unfortunately we have only 1 bathroom at the moment, so we will share.
What else ...
We are living at approx 50 minutes away by car from Lyon, a very nice (underestimated) city. Around our village there are also plenty of cute villages, activities etc. We are approx 1.30hr away from the French alpes. If we are both at work (at the office) we won't have a car available at the moment, but we do have a scooter or bike that you can use. We could also drop you somewhere if we have the possibility!
One more thing about us: we would love to eat together, but if you like to eat alone or anything that's also fine for us. We are very social, but also like some alone time.
Oh, did I mention, we have a hottub outside? =)A little more information

For our first workaway experience, we were given our first insights into French culture. We were taken to friends' houses and given various tips on places to visit, fresh markets and restaurants, which we really enjoyed.
