Hi! I'm Sophie. I am an friendly, open-minded and curious person who loves to challenge myself and try things I've never done before. I'm in my early twenties and I have just graduated from university with a degree in Film Production. After being in full time education all my life I want to start growing and learning through trying things that are out of my comfort zone. My interests are hiking, photography, playing the guitar and learning languages.
It's been a goal since I was young to travel the world, gain new perspectives and learn languages. I have always wanted to visit Japan to explore it's culture and practice my Japanese which is why I am doing a Work Holiday visa from September 2025 to September 2026. l am hoping to grow and learn through new experiences whilst travelling through Japan and make some new friends along the way!
I have previous work experience in hospitality jobs so I aim to be as polite and helpful towards customers as possible. I have some knowledge of vegetable/fruit farming due to helping on farms through WWOOF (Worldwide Opportunities on Organic Farms), you can see the feedback I have received from hosts in my photos. I also have some experience doing photography and videography, mainly for live events. So if you need a person with these skills I am more than happy to help!Interests
