Description
Hello! I’m Rozu from Japan. I’m 22 years old and currently studying engineering at university.
I will graduate in March 2026 and start working at a consulting firm in August 2026. I joined Workaway to make good use of the time before my job starts, meet people with different values and backgrounds, and learn through cooperation and real experiences.
I lived in the Philippines for one month to study English and gain new experiences to grow as a person. I’ve also traveled around Asia and Australia.
The more I interacted with people abroad, the more I wanted to see the world and connect with different communities.
I love nature and animals, and I have a cat at home.
I also enjoy strength training and running, and I go to the gym five times a week.
So, I’m confident with my physical strength.
I like talking with people and feel comfortable communicating with people of different ages and backgrounds.
I’m happy to help with farm work, basic DIY support, and household chores.
I can also help with pet care. I have no allergies.
Even if I haven’t done a task before, I’m willing to learn and will work seriously.
My English is not fluent yet, but I can handle everyday conversations.
I’d like to make friends who are from different countries and talk about different cultures.
So, I’m studying English hard.
l will do my best for supporting you.
I would be glad to work in your nice place.
Thank you.

More details about your skills
I can help with:
・Physical work / stamina: I’ve been active in sports since I was a student (e.g., soccer and field hockey), and now I go to the gym about five times a week for weight training. Because of that, I’m confident in my strength and stamina, and I can work patiently and consistently.
・Farm / gardening: I love nature, and I have some basic experience because my family home in Japan has a garden. I’m happy to help with farm work, planting, weeding, watering, harvesting, and general outdoor tasks.
・Animal care: I’m an animal lover and I have a cat. I can help with feeding, cleaning, and daily care, and I’d also love to learn how to take care of animals I haven’t worked with before.
・Household tasks: Cleaning rooms, washing dishes, and keeping shared spaces neat and comfortable.
・Cooking: Kitchen help from my experience working at a Chinese restaurant. I can also cook simple Japanese meals and basic Chinese dishes.
・Customer service: Friendly, efficient communication from my café job.
・Tutoring: Taught science and math at a cram school (juku).
・Web / SEO: Long-term internship at a web agency—supported website design and basic SEO advice (content structure, keywords, on-page improvements).
If there are any other tasks you can teach me, I’d be very happy to learn and help in whatever way you need.
Thank you for reading— I look forward to hearing from you, and I hope I can help you at your place.

What else ...
I’ve played sports for many years (swimming, soccer, and field hockey), and lately I’ve been really into strength training at the gym. So I enjoy being active. I also like Japanese manga and anime—I’d be happy to chat in person if you do too.
