Hello! I am a nurse who has been working in emergency departments and at children's camps in outdoor education for the last 6 years. I have been expanding what it means to be a health care provider and first responder by volunteering with intentional communities and at places that emphasize natural healing. I am also an herbalist, and try to integrate plant medicine with Western medicine. My lifestyle has been very nomadic over the last few years, moving around the Pacific Northwest in a camper.
I am now taking a break from nursing to pursue traveling, and hopefully expand my skills as a healer while having a bit of adventure. I am really interested in learning and sharing song and dance from different parts of the world.
While my main skills are with healthcare, I also love working in sustainable gardening/farming and I have worked in hospitality at retreat centers. I love cooking delicious meals as a way to bring people together. I have been vegetarian for a long time, and recently started eating fish.
I recently took up sailing, and would love to learn more about how to be on a boat. I prefer to be in small rural communities that have a relationship with the land rather than in a fast paced city or touristy area.

My background and skills are mostly in health care, as an ER nurse and camp nurse, but also as an herbalist.
I have some experience working on farms, at retreat centers and at festivals.
I love gardening, I have spent a lot of time removing invasive species and creating native , sustainable landscapes.
I have spent a small amount of time on a catamaran, and would love to expand my sailing skills.
I am very good with cats and dogs, and love spending time with animals.
I am a pretty good cook. I focus on nutritious, vegetarian meals, using fresh ingredients.

I love crafting as a hobby. I make all sorts of things! Most recently I have been making a lot of baskets, but I love making candles and soap, any kind of weaving, embroidery, or jewelry making. My biggest craft projects are making elaborate costumes.
