Greetings!
Our names are Riley and Troy. We're from Walla Walla, Washington USA. We hope to explore the world and learn new skills over our holidays.
Both of us are well-traveled; Riley studied in Ueda, Japan for a month and has returned to London, where she's originally from, a few times. Troy has gone on backpacking expeditions through Australia and Slovenia, and has mountain biked around Iceland. We often take road trips across the United States. Our favorite domestic destination is Moab, Utah.
Riley is going to school to become a veterinarian.She grew up around horses and teaches adaptive horseback riding lessons to people with disabilities. She also works at a high-volume spay/neuter clinic for cats and dogs. In addition to caring for horses, cats and dogs, she's familiar with gardening, sheep, goats, pigs and chicken care as well as childcare and homemaking.
Troy currently works for the government to legally advocate for children in abusive situations. He started a bike team in Olympia, Washington, where he later worked as a volunteer coach, and restored and maintained trails. Additionally, he worked at a law firm, where he organized and digitized files and reviewed potential clients' cases. He loves to play guitar and will happily sing and play to you and your animals.
The two of us are very happy when we're outdoors, so we'd love a workaway that keeps us outside and active. We love human connection, so in addition to work, we're seeking interesting discussions and faces to exchange our favorite meals, songs, and stories with.

At our latest Workaway, we gained experience painting (wood housing, storage containers and boats), mucking, caring for animals, and oiling wood.
