Hi! We are a French/Mauritian couple currently on a Working Holiday Visa in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. We are taking this year as an opportunity to discover new places in Asia and as we are both freelancers, we can move around quite freely.

I am Louise (30), working as a Scribe (live transcriber) for deaf and HoH people. I love reading, learning words in new languages, and yoga! I can spend hours walking everyday and I try to never miss a sunset. I'd like to spend more time helping others in any way I can and this year is a perfect opportunity to do so!

And I'm Pierre (28), web developer unoccupied at the moment but with high hopes of finding a remote job beginning of 2026. I'm passionate of music, jazz and sub-Saharan/tuareg blues being my favorite but really open to new discoveries (test me if you dare) and sharing my favorite gems. I try to build/fix things as much as I can, I like to reuse and the challenge behind figuring out how things work (might be related to my work field).

We both traveled a lot, meeting so many wonderful people, cultures and we're hoping that being here together will allow us continue !

Pierre: I did a one year volunteering program back in Europe in an envrionment oriented NGO (h2o.pt if you want to check their website which I made for them btw). The tasks ranged from reuse of old broken furnitures to build new ones, fixing electric appliances, assistance to local teachers and ederly people from the village I used to live, pruning trees and grape vines, working in dog shelters and many other small building or handling tasks. I generally am good around tools, field work, gardening and as a Web developer, I would be gald to help with any kind of related project you might have!

Louise: I have lately taken an interest in painting and would be interested in helping in artsy projects. What I love the most is working with animals and children (I have been a baby-sitter ever since I was 14). I have been a volunteer first aider for 4 years in France and I have worked in a few fields, from planes to real estate, where I have developed some various skills along the way. I would say that my biggest one is my flexibility!
