  • Description

It's not easy to summarize in a few lines who I am and what makes me me, but I'll try!
I'm from Siena, a small medieval city in Tuscany, near Florence.
I have a law degree, a specialization diploma in legal professions, and a master's in juvenile criminal mediation. I worked for several years as a babysitter and a mini-volleyball coach, and I am currently employed at a public institution.
On a deeper level, I'm a sensitive, introspective, curious, and sunny person. I'm looking for human connections because I feel happy when I open up to people of all ages and when they open up to me, when we show ourselves for who we really are (regardless of what we do), and when we talk about our feelings or our approach to life.
I love meeting new people, discovering cultures, seeing new places, and collecting experiences and emotions because I believe this is the best way to use the limited time we've been given.
For as long as I can remember, whenever I need to analyze myself or put my thoughts in order, I write in my notebooks. I also love reading—both books and poems—and I’ve recently started practicing mindfulness.
Doing sports is very important to me, for the physical but especially the mental well-being it brings. I’ve been playing volleyball for about 15 years. I also enjoy running and swimming, but I’m curious to try other sports as well! I’ve gone skydiving (one of the best experiences of my life!!) and I’m determined to try rafting, rock climbing, canoeing, paragliding, surfing, and who knows what else!
As I said, I enjoy spending time with people, but I also need my moments of quiet and solitude, which I usually spend writing or walking through nature, with headphones in my ears and a book in my backpack

I love children and I think I am good at connecting with them and making them feel as comfortable as they make me feel. I have taken care of my three younger siblings since I was a little girl; I babysit and I work as an educator at summer camps for children, during which I teach them teamwork and try to develop their creativity through drawing, painting, singing, dancing and acting. I also coach kids in mini-volleyball.
My mom always cared a lot about housekeeping so my siblings and I learned to do household chores from an early age.
During my law studies I also worked as a waitress in a restaurant, as an event hostess, and as a bartender.
For one year I volunteered at a nursing home for the elderly.
I have written a few articles for a local newspaper.
I am a quick learner, curious and determined to learn new tasks!
