Description
Hi. I recently graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder and I’ve had it in my mind for a while now that I’d like to take time after school to explore. I'll be starting with South America, where I plan to spend some time volunteering and trekking in Peru before making my way down to Patagonia. My life revolves around being outdoors and I love finding myself in unknown places, so I'm just chasing what makes me feel alive.

More details about your skills
I have a varied work background; last summer I worked for a nonprofit out of Colorado dedicated to ending hunger through music. I've also done policy research and writing work alongside the Colorado state government. In the past I've worked in restaurants, which taught me how to be a team player and communicate with people from all walks of life. I have experience working with children through babysitting and camps, and I've grown up around animals so while my experience is limited to dog walking, I'd like to think there's a natural ease there; something I'm hoping to put to use. I was also fortunate enough to spend time in Cuba building basketball courts and spending time with local families. I'd say what connects all of these experiences is a willingness to engage wholeheartedly. They've taught me to approach new opportunities with openness, enthusiasm, and a strong sense of responsibility.
