I'm in Belgium right now, but planning to visit Mexican and Colombian culture, cuisine, nature and mountains during the months October-February, whilst of course working and getting to know people.

Description

I am a very enthusiastic and eager to learn young man who wants to see more of the world. I have just graduated from university and want to see the world before I start working. I love cooking, mountain climbing, and getting to know new cultures. With WorkAway, I would like to learn as much as possible in countries I have never been to before. I am certainly not afraid to roll up my sleeves and get dirty, so I can handle any work that is asked of me ;-) (although I may need some explanation first). In addition to the interests mentioned above, I also love music, art, and sports.

What I'm already good at:
- cooking
- physical activities: I'm still young and not afraid to get dirty, work with heavy equipment, or do straining activities.
- playing with and looking after children (a lot of babysitting experience + I've been a scouts leader for 5 years for children in different age groups (6-9; 12-11-15; 16-17)
- speaking (and learnin) languages: at the moment I speak dutch (mother tongue), english and french fluently, I have had courses for German but forgot a lot :). I would love to learn spanish, and already try to learn it from Duolingo.

I'm a very quick learner so all the other possible activities you would like me to do should be no problem to learn!

What else ...

I really really love cooking and would LOVE to learn more about other cuisines!
I worked in two restaurants already as a cook, and I am planning to become a cook after doing my Workaway journey.

Dancing is also something I really like! Although it is with my eyes closed, and probably not in a certain style.... I would love to learn traditional dances as well!

Board games like chess or backgammon are also very interesting to me.

I love to engage in all kinds of activities that I've never done before.
Literally anything I don't know / do / master yet seems interesting to me.
