Hello!
My name is Milad. I studied architecture and technology in university and I used to work as an architect in Tehran.

Workaway Experiences:
2 months working on an organic farm in Turkey.
1 month working in a glamping site in Turkey.
1 month making a wooden terrace in a yoga retreat center in Georgia.
2 months working with horses, sheep, goats and cows in Mongolia.
1 month working in a pepper farm in Cambodia, and conducting farm tours.
2 months working in a ranch, to take care of horses and give riding tours in Laos
1 month working in a permaculture farm in Indonesia
1 month designing and building a wooden house in a small island in Indonesia
3 months designing and building an Earthbag Dome house in Kenya
1 month building a chalet and design and built a Geodesic Dome in Botswana
1 month working on cob building in Zimbabwe
Passion:
As an architect, sustainable design is my favorite topic. One of the main reasons that I want to be a volunteer is to learn new skills firsthand, and exchange languages if it’s possible.
I also like to experience different cultures, see the way of their living and share my stories with them as well.
What I can share with hosts:
I am a worker guy, so I can probably be able to do any handy works, such as work on a farm or gardening. Also I have a master degree in architecture, so I can be a help in matters like designing new layouts. And I really like photography, so I would be more than happy if any help in this regard is needed.
Why I want to be a volunteer:
Meeting new people is the best part about traveling. Seeing new places, historic sites and beautiful sceneries are all great, but personally I think the most fun and enriching is to experience it with others, whether they are your travel partner, your host, co host, or roommates, and volunteering is the best way to achieve that.
My experience in other travel related websites:
Before Covid, when I was working full time job, I used Couchsurfing to host travellers from all over the world, and it was a blast.
