Hey!
I’m Maja from Germany. Traveling has been part of my life from an early age, and before starting my studies I already had the chance to take part in several Workaway projects – all of them great experiences that taught me a lot and made me want to continue.

I’m a creative, musical and open-minded person who enjoys being around people, but also values quiet moments to myself. I’m always curious to learn new things, discover different ways of life and truly connect with the places and people I meet. Alongside my studies, I’m currently on semester break and excited to set off again and start a new chapter of adventures and cultural exchange.

I’m a motivated and reliable person who enjoys learning new skills. I’m curious and pick up new tasks quickly.
I already have several Workaway experiences, including working as an au pair in Spain, helping with gardening projects, and working in a B&B. In addition, I currently babysit regularly for two families alongside my studies and have many years of childcare experience with children of all ages (0–14), including my two younger brothers.
I’m a creative person and enjoy sewing, painting, DIY projects, and making music. Music plays an important role in my life – I play the flute in an orchestra and have helped at various events, which has taught me how to work with different people and in busy environments.
I love cooking, enjoy experimenting with new recipes, and am happy to help out in the kitchen whenever needed.
