Description

We are Ly (24) and Jaan (25) from Estonia, a couple excited to travel and experience different ways of living through Workaway before eventually settling down and building our future together.
Ly is currently working as a farm hand and finishing her Master’s degree in Farm Production, Sales and Management. She has grown up on her family’s seed production farm, where she has been involved in a wide range of agricultural work since childhood.
Jaan works as a music teacher, composer, music producer, and piano tuner. He is especially passionate about creating music for theatre and film and has built his own recording studio. Alongside his creative work, he also has hands-on experience with farm and manual labor from his family farm.
Although we come from different professional fields, we are both very hands-on, hardworking, and motivated by learning new skills and working in nature.
We are especially excited about this Workaway experience as it is our first time, and we are eager to contribute, learn, and become part of a host’s daily life—whether on a farm, in nature, or within a family environment.

What else ...

We are active and outdoors-loving people who enjoy bouldering, snowboarding, skiing, and running. We like staying busy and feel most fulfilled when doing meaningful, physical work.
We are comfortable both working independently and as part of a team, and we adapt easily to different environments—whether social family life or more quiet, remote settings.
We also enjoy cultural activities such as theatre, films, and music, and we appreciate opportunities to connect with people and local life.
We are looking forward to learning new skills, especially in farming and animal care, and to growing through new experiences. Most importantly, we hope to contribute positively, be reliable helpers, and become part of the place we stay.
