Hello :)
My name is Luna, I am a 22 yo French gir!
Curious, open-minded and positive person, with a strong love for travel, nature and cultural exchange. I am currently studying managementand marketing and LOOKING FOR A WORKAWAY FROM MID JANUARY UNTIL MID FEBUARY!

I grew up in a lively family, and from a young age I have been used to taking care of children. I have a much younger sister, and we have always spent a lot of time together doing creative activities such as painting, cooking, dancing, and homework. I am responsible and very comfortable around children of all ages.
I would describe myself as an adventurous, adaptable and independent person. When I was 15, I spent four months in Australia on a language exchange, living with a local family and attending an Australian school. This experience truly shaped me and confirmed my love for international exchanges and simple living.

Since then, I have had several meaningful experiences abroad all with Workaway!
- United Kingdom: 1month babysitting and volunteering in a library
- Spain (Valencia): 2 months as an au pair, taking care of 3 children. I spoke Spanish with the parents and English with the children, and I also gave French lessons to the two oldest kids, helping them improve their confidence in a fun and natural way.
- Canada (Vancouver): au pair for a family with four young children. It was an unforgettable experience
- Costa Rica: volunteering on a remote farm with no Wi-Fi, where I experienced a very simple and nature-based lifestyle. I learned how to milk goats, feed and take care of all the farm animals, build animal enclosures, and harvest fruits directly from the land. This experience taught me autonomy, resilience and adaptability.
I also had the opportunity to work in a hostel in Costa Rica, where I was involved in the daily management of the hostel. My tasks included welcoming guests, handling check-ins and check-outs, managing payments, and taking care of the opening and closing of the hostel.

Thanks to these experiences, I am now very familiar with the Workaway spirit, and I genuinely enjoy contributing to daily life while learning new skills.

I speak French (native), English fluently (C1 – TOEIC 965/990), I can hold conversations in Spanish.
I am very comfortable helping children or adults practice French or English, whether through informal conversations, games, daily life situations or more structured language support if needed.

I am also very sporty. I practiced rhythmic gymnastics for nearly 13 years, including five participations in the French Championships, which taught me discipline, perseverance, creativity and teamwork. I love outdoor activities and being surrounded by nature, forests, sea, mountains, sunsets and sunrises.

In my free time, I enjoy cooking, creative activities (sewing, DIY, painting), and learning new manual or practical skills. I also work part-time at an Italian food stand, which helped me develop strong communication skills, adaptability and responsibility.

Through Workaway, I am looking for a meaningful cultural exchange, ideally in a calm and natural environment. I am happy to help with language practice, children, animals, daily life, gardening, light construction or creative projects, and I always approach my tasks with motivation, respect and a positive attitude.

My mother tongue is French so I would be delighted to teach you French and French culture!I also have a very good level of English (C1 with 965/990 on the TOEIC test) and could also give lessons. I am looking to practice and improve my spanish it is already pretty good too but I need practice! Which I would like to consolidate, on top of Italian I am just starting, I am a beginner.

One thing everyone tells me is that I bring positivity and smile all the time! So I guess I naturally have the skills to bring joy to my surroundings.

My native language is French, so I am able and would love to teach you or your kids how to speak French. I can help you discover my culture through my cooking skills, songs, stories, and games.

Otherwise, as I said in my profile, I did a language exchange in Australia for 4 months, and Spain for 1,5 months. There I learned to adapt, to be independent, sociable, and most importantly to speak English and Spanish! (beginner in Italian)

I do a lot of babysitting, and I also take care of my sister. I am therefore responsible and able to help a child with homework, showering, eating, going to bed...
Indeed, I love children. But my favorite thing is to do activities with them. I am very creative in this area. For example, educational board games, team games, sports games, simple cooking, creative workshops (bead necklaces, painting, modeling clay), and much more!

I do love to cook so I would be happy to prepare breakfast as well as dinner. I am also able to clean, tidy, empty the dishwasher, and do simple jobs like painting, wallpapering, gardening...

I also volunteered in a library in England for a month in 2019, and I am working as a seller at an italian market. So I can run a small store or a reception, to be a sales consultant...

I would be happy to develop my skills with you as well.
