Description
Hi there
I will be spending a couple of months in Ireland Jan 2026 - April 26 and I am flexible for whereever that may be. When I was 30 I spent a year in Canada WWOOFing where I learned alot of skills for DIY, gardening, animals etc. Returning to Scotland I worked as a Project Manager and for fun I enjoyed buying old properties and giving them a new lease of life, as well as my veg patches. I left my previous profession and have spent the last couple years on personal studies which I am now progressing. In that time I have had experience with Diggers and Dreamers, TrustedHousesitters and a few friend's of friends (now friends) house and animal sits from small to farm, and so can pass on details for reviews. I enjoy showing up and laying my hat where I can add value for others, experience life and enjoy time with others and also my own space. Please ping me if you would like to chat. Thank you.

More details about your skills
My skills in organisation and time keeping have lead to all past jobs resulting in the offer of full time employment from my first part time job at 11 to my current position. This was originally a 1 year temporary position in a microbiology laboratory which lead to a job offer of Quality Supervisor in both the micro and chemical labs and also Technical Supervisor in the initial stages of large scale vitamin C production. I work well with others as part of a team and also as an individual in delivering targets and problem solving. Communication and leadership skills I have gained have benefited not only myself but those I work with in process personnel training ensuring all tasks are carried out not only safely but efficiently. I can plan and deliver seeing projects through to completion and can also adapt to unexpected changes to optimise end results. I have good interpersonal skills and enjoy working well with others seeing different ideas and experiences resulting in a diverse complete product. This has benefited me in working previously with the public and also in my current position which sees me supervising personnel who have up to 30 years job experience and who also applied for the position I currently hold, building mutual respect and a team that work well together.... sometimes with a little push.

What else ...
I am a reliable, loyal, hardworking individual who enjoys new challenges and responsibilities. I am a hands on person who gets personal satisfaction in doing new tasks for myself and helping others. Recently when visiting my friend in London and their baby I ended up helping her husband in the garden digging up old decking and levelling the area and in a couple of weeks I will be helping my friend tile and decorate her bathroom. I try to deliver a high standard of work which I do to the best of my ability and where lacking experience I will always have a go and enjoy learning from others. I am very creative and enjoy DIY, reading and socialising. I look forward to hearing from you.
