Description
Hello,
I am Léna, a French 26 year old woman. At the moment I work as a biostatistician in public health and social epidemiology.
From November 2025 to March 2026, I am planning a trip to Southeast Asia. I would like to take the time to do some volunteer work, and thus have the chance to meet the local populations, have good exchanges with them and share our cultures.
As I really like teaching, I would love to volunteer in this field, but I am also open to other experiences.
I love traveling and meeting people from different cultures. I have already traveled to many European countries, the United States, Canada, Chile, Bolivia, China and Tunisia.

I love learning new languages, so I am always trying to learn as much as possible when I visit a country. I also enjoy teaching, right now I can teach French and English as these are the languages I speak fluently.

I studied mathematics and computer science, so I have solid skills in these areas.
When I was a student, I gave math and physics lessons to high school students, which enabled me to improve my teaching skills. Today, as part of my job, I've launched a training group in which I teach the R statistical language to my colleagues.
I am also fluent in French (mother tongue) and English (two years of my study program were taught in English and I use this language everyday at work).
Other than teaching, I can cook, look after children (I have childcare experience), garden and do other domestic chores.
I addition, I enjoy learning and am keen to acquire new skills.

What else ...
I love travelling and discovering new cultures. However, I am more used to "classical travels", and today I would like to get new experiences, getting to know better local people. That is why I would like to take time to volunteer.
In my free time, I enjoy playing board games, doing sports (I practice karate and skiing), hiking, watching series , spending time with friends and I am always up to try new activities.
