Hello, and welcome! I am a 42-year-old Brazilian person living in Ireland for the last decade. Graduated as a language teacher (French and Portuguese), I first came to Ireland to study English and ended up calling the Emerald Isle home.
I speak fluent English, Portuguese and French, and have studied other languages such as Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Polish and Latin. At the moment, I am trying to get back into my career as a theatre maker and am studying Performing Arts at college.
I am a good cook and enjoy gardening in my spare time.
I am planning to travel around Ireland for a couple of days over mid-term break (if I can still find a host!).
And then I have bigger plans for the second half of May onwards, the summer.
I am particularly interested in communities that have Arts Projects, where I can develop Augusto Boal's Theatre of the Oppressed workshops and other theatre experiences.
I offer my expertise in organising events, teaching languages and making things happen on a stage! I can also help with tourist attractions, as I have worked as a tour guide and have other experiences in the hospitality sector. I may help translate your website into French, English, or Portuguese.
I hope I can find a host interested in my skills and interests for 2026!
