Hi!

My name is Jeremy. I am 22 years old, and I'm a fourth year student (graduating this May) from the United States, studying English.

I am pursuing a career in teaching English abroad and I'm hoping to gain some experience, as well as connect with people from a different culture than my own. I especially enjoy learning about other languages and cuisines.

I love reading (especially Russian novels), playing sad songs on guitar, cooking, and having interesting conversations with strangers.

This last summer I received TEFL certification from TEFLWorldwidePrague, in which I spent over 130 hours learning methodology, and lesson planning, as well as real-world practice with English learners.

Shortly after, I also volunteered with Angloville in their Junior program, where I helped students practice their English in Poland.

At my home university in Sacramento, California I worked as a Passport Agent for our International Programs and Global Engagement office, and also assisted in receiving emails for our International Admissions department.
