  • Description

Hi there! My name is Jakub, I’m 25 years old, and I’ve just finished my university semesters in Czechia, where I study Archaeology. Before I finish my final exams in January, I want to take a big step out of my comfort zone, experience the world, and learn new language.

Thanks to my field of study, I am used to hard manual work outdoors, attention to detail, and working in all kinds of weather. I also have previous experience living and working abroad, so I know how to adapt quickly to a new environment and culture.

I have a solid background in gastronomy, and I am a great cook. I really enjoy preparing good meals and sharing food with others.

I am an active, reliable, and grounded guy who values discipline and structured days. I’m traveling solo, which means I am 100% flexible, ready to adapt to your house rules, and can arrive basically immediately. I'm quiet, clean, and respectful of other people's privacy.

  • More details about your skills

Due to my background in archaeology and gastronomy, I have a versatile set of practical skills. Thanks to my field studies, I am well used to heavy manual labor outdoors, working with various tools, and staying focused even in challenging weather conditions. This is also backed by my previous experience working in forestry in Austria, where my daily tasks included cutting down trees, planting new ones, and mowing grass, so I can easily help with gardening, chopping wood, or general property maintenance. At the same time, my solid experience in gastronomy means I am a great cook who is happy to take over the kitchen, handle food prep efficiently, and prepare delicious meals for the household or guests. Having lived and worked abroad before, I am fully independent, quick to learn new routines, and highly respectful of shared spaces and house rules.

  • What else ...

I love cooking, going for multi-day hikes in nature, and spending a lot of time with my dogs. I also like to stay active, which currently includes daily cold plunges and working on dropping some weight. I am a big history buff, I enjoy music and movies, and I am quite social. I love connecting with new people, whether it is over a good homemade meal or just a great conversation.
