Hi there!

I’m Jakub, a 23-year-old university student from Prague, Czech Republic, currently in my final year of studying. I love travelling, exploring new places, meeting people from different backgrounds, and trying things I haven’t done before. In my free time, I enjoy reading, spending time outdoors with friends, and simply being curious about the world around me.

One of my main motivations for doing Workaway is to improve my German and get to know German-speaking culture and everyday life. I’m currently around A2/B1 level, so I can manage basic conversations, but I’d really like to practice German every day with native speakers and become more confident. I’d especially love to spend some time in Germany or Austria and experience everyday life from the inside, rather than just visiting as a tourist.

This will be my first Workaway experience, and I’m genuinely excited about it. I’m not afraid of getting my hands dirty or doing physical work, and I’m happy to help wherever I’m needed. Whether it’s helping around the house, working outdoors, gardening, taking care of animals, or helping with everyday tasks, I’ll always do my best and keep a positive attitude.

I consider myself reliable, responsible, respectful, and easy to get along with. I’m happy to learn new skills, take on tasks I haven’t done before, and adapt to different situations.

What I’m really looking for is a genuine cultural exchange, to contribute to your home or project, learn from you, share good conversations, and experience local life.

I’m a quick learner and I’m not afraid of physical or hands-on work. I’m happy to help with gardening, outdoor work, basic household tasks, cleaning, cooking, or taking care of animals. I don’t have professional experience in all of these areas, but I’m willing to learn.

As a final-year law student, I’m organized, responsible, and used to working independently and managing my time.
