We are Issa and Ghadeer, we exploring the world through travel, driven by a shared passion for cultural exchange and hands-on learning. Workaway allows us to immerse ourselves in new environments, connect with inspiring people, and grow both personally and as a team.

We love stepping outside our comfort zones, and we’re always excited to pick up new skills or dive into meaningful projects. Along our journey, we’ve developed practical experience in natural building, gardening, woodwork, cooking, and drawing, skills we’re eager to share and continue expanding. Whether we’re planting in a garden, helping with a construction project, or creating art to brighten a space, we bring energy, curiosity, and care to everything we do.

We’re both comfortable with a wide range of domestic tasks. We can help with cooking and meal preparation for individuals or small groups, and we enjoy keeping living spaces organized. We’re also happy to take care of basic housekeeping duties. In addition, we love animals and have experience caring for pets, making sure they’re well-fed, walked or exercised, and given plenty of attention.

We enjoy working with our hands and being outside. Our experience includes gardening tasks such as planting, weeding, composting, watering, and overall garden maintenance. We’re also interested in natural building and have helped eco-friendly projects using earth-based construction techniques. We have some experience with woodworking and basic carpentry, and we’re always ready to take on physical work or learn new practical skills on-site.

Creativity is an important part of our daily life. We both enjoy drawing and creating visual art, and we like to contribute creatively through small DIY or decorative projects. In terms of language, we are fluent in English, Arabic, and French, and have intermediate proficiency in Spanish. This allows us to help with communication, basic translation, or even informal language exchange when needed.

As a team, we’re adaptable, proactive, and easy to work with. We’re quick to learn, open-minded, and take pride in being reliable and organized. We bring a respectful, friendly presence wherever we go, and we genuinely enjoy connecting with others through shared work, cultural exchange, and day-to-day collaboration. Most importantly, we’re motivated to contribute and make a positive impact wherever we can.

What else ...

We both have a variety of interests that keep us active and engaged in the world around us. Hiking and exploring nature are some of our favorite ways to spend time together, whether it’s discovering new trails, trekking through different landscapes, or simply enjoying the peace of the outdoors. We love going on trips to explore new places, from remote mountains to lush forests, and experiencing the unique beauty of each environment.

In addition to our individual adventures, we enjoy joining group trips where we can meet new people, share experiences, and explore together. Whether it’s a guided tour, a cultural excursion, or a spontaneous group adventure, we value the opportunity to connect with others and broaden our horizons through shared exploration.
