Description
Hello! My name is Isobel and I am 19 years old. Having finished further education in the UK (Biology, English and Art A levels) I took a gap year, backpacking 4 months across Australia and New Zealand as well as working full time to help my future prospects within healthcare. Now me and a friend from work will be travelling through Central America, before returning home to begin study. I am friendly, kind and hard working and I am eager to gain new experiences and learn new cultures with a variety of hosts. I love meeting new people, sharing stories and having good conversations, as well as hiking, swimming, exploring, journaling, reading and being creative.

More details about your skills
I am an organised, tidy and reliable person. My family are very outdoorsy and we have often been hiking and camping, and have also been on river boat holidays which involved working the locks. When I was younger I used to ride horses with friends and I enjoy gardening, upcycling, sewing and mending, and cooking. I have experience in catering, childcare and pet sitting (I am a pet loving person with a family dog at home), and have previously volunteered in my primary school assisting with classroom duties and encouraging children's learning. I have also volunteered abroad with Challenges Abroad and Future Sense Foundation teaching English with a group of fellow students in Tanzania, where I made strong friendships with my peers while developing my confidence and leadership skills. For almost 2 years I have worked as a Customer Assistant, developing my customer service skills and becoming more charismatic and outgoing towards people as a result of this.
