Description
Before my wife passed away in 2023, we dreamed of traveling back to our favorite destinations and staying there for 3 to 6 months, to really get to know the locals and the communities. We intended to serve in the communities to give back while we were there. I now seek doing something similar with Workaway. Working and learning about and enjoying the communities around me. The Pacific Northwest is where my late wife and I were planning to retire to. During my 2024 Workaway trip to the PNW I found and bought my current home in Oregon.
Do not let my age scare you. I work out five days a week and am very vigorous. I learn quickly, am kind and respectful. -

I grew up on a farm and so have a strong work ethic, am resourceful and have a can-do attitude. Our farm had 60 head of cattle, we cut and baled hay, grew crops etc. I grew up using, fixing and maintaining all sorts of farm equipment. I can wield, do bodywork, paint, light carpentry skills, feed animals, etc. I am also a professional and worked in Sourcing and Procurement and so have great negotiating, computer and people skills.
