Greetings to the person behind the screen! I'm a spanish guy called Borja and I'm 27.
I have done some workaways farming, gardening, animal care, and helping at hostels/bar.
I come from Canary Islands so if you don't know the place, I'll be happy to tell you about it. I used to be a sportive person and a sports instructor. I love every kind of music and artists. I enjoy being outdoors and doing hiking/camping.
Mainly I'm a calm and easygoing person. I always say yes to doing new things so I'll very very happy if you ask me for it. I can take initiative too and I'm good organizing and planning things.
I think a good communication is key for everything you do.
I'm an apassionated of nature. I love creating bonds with animals and people.
I'm looking for experiences that allow me to learn everything I can about self sustaining, permaculture, gardening, harvesting and different ways of living and producing from mother Earth. At the same time, I'm interested in building projects with natural materials, woodwork and the differents ways/ideas of creating a natural eviroment to live in. I'll be very happy to learn aswell DIY projects, creation of homemade tools and the use of recycled materials.
Hoping to create a space by myself some day that I can share too :)
And last but my personal best caring of the people and the herd.

I used to be very sportive, doing and competing on a wide range of sports since I was a kid (swimming, lifeguarding, triathlon).
Also I like practicing many other sports as soccer, basketball, kayaking, diving, bodyboard, snowboarding and hiking. I have studied sports science and done some tourism aswell bur this last I had to stop bc of my differences between how ppl focus tourism [making the max amount of money] instead of what ideally I think it should be [get to know & take care of the enviroment and local ppl]).

As common jobs I have done lifesaving, sports instructor, summer camps and physical activities coach/trainer/educator for firms or NGOs, working with different types of populations(kids, teenagers, adults, seniors, people with special needs and people with health issues). So I can say I have experience in working with people all ages and conditions .
I have been assisting and doing manintenance in air conditioners and cooling systems company but not for long.
Lately I have helped running foodcart/trucks, prepping and selling Km0 hot dogs and pizzas.

During my time volunteering I have done plenty of things, mainly taking care of animals, farming, some building and working in hostels/homestays/restaurants.
There I have done some permacultuture, gardening, compost and harvesting aswell, decoration, building with wood and assisting with natural building, maintenance of facilities and cleaning. I like cooking and eating always (searching for new recipes).
I'm more interested in farming, forestry, carpentry and natural building. I'd love to learn how to proces food (dairy) and make pickles and preserved products
I like to organize activities or plan if needed and i'm good in working in teams.

Everything I can do in nature I'll be extremely grateful for.
I have driver license if needed but I prefer to walk or other enviromental friendly ways of mobility.
