Description
I'm a creative person who will try my hand at anything! (My nickname as a kid was fearless Faye, if I haven't done something before I'm eager to learn). I've worked with all sorts of animals, I've always especially loved working with horses and dogs and have quite a bit of experience in this. I'm a hand person in all sorts of ways, carpentry experience, painting, building, murals, permaculture systems.
I've been travelling the last few years and I'm not a very high maintenance person, give me a job and I'll get it done! Saying that, my preference is to work with people wether that's hosts or other workawayers. I'm good at entertaining myself but I can never get enough of campfire conversations, spontaneous lake dips and new people -

More details about your skills
I have experience working in a large petcare centre most often looking after around 7 dogs at a time. Growing up my parents and grandparents have had chickens, dogs, cats (including rescuing and rehabilitating feral cats and dogs), horses, geese, goats (I worked on a goat farm with over 60 goats, feeding and helping to maintain their areas) and cows. I've ridden and looked after horses since I was young and would be more than happy helping around with chores. I’m a community-orientated person and will work hard wherever you put me.
I love working with children and have experience working as a babysitter and I have a valid DBS check. I also have lots of experience working on and around permaculture farms and nature retreats, I have done some personal studying on permaculture and I would be more than happy to share my lectures and resources though having lived away for a while now I might need some refreshing but I'm always an enthusiastic learner. I love cooking and I'm a very creative person.
I have worked on a few building projects and grew up in a fixer-upper house and have done all sorts of painting and decorating and any handyman jobs we could do ourselves we would learn. I've also helped out building a few different animals shelter like chicken hutches, horse stalls, electric fencing etc and worked for a few weeks building the skeletal framing for a tiny home.
I’ve Travelled all my life, I go backpacking for the whole summer and love meeting new people and exploring new places, I try to keep a healthy lifestyle and enjoy rock climbing, horse riding and hiking, and always find something new to try. I’m a passionate activist when I can be and I enjoy going out in the city if I can but am more than have in the deep countryside getting my hands dirty. -

We had a lot of snow; working outdoors was a bit rough (and cold). Faye is experienced at working with wood and carpeting, handing over tasks was easy. Jurgen and Faye worked on building the wooden skeleton of the wall.
