Description
My wife and I are experimenting with "pre-tirement" kind of resetting our compass to family, adventure, and fun. We're setting ourselves up to travel more, but keep working here and there.
Chris (who goes by Kif) has been getting really into sailing in the last few years and is particularly interested in sailing workaway experiences so he can learn by doing about seamanship, maintenance of boats, and just about anything else. He is open to traveling solo for these or with Jamie.
Jamie likes the water, but also likes hiking and being in nature on land. She is looking for interesting community and family experiences.
We both like community projects whether for a family, group, or nonprofit.

I (Kif) am pretty generally handy. I can handle basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical. I have welding experience, have done my own light construction. I am also pretty good with computers and data management. In my working life I do a lot of writing, some grant writing but more program design and program planning. I am currently running a small nonprofit, so I have a whole other set of general administrative and organizational skills.
Jamie is incredibly talented with a lot of crafting and artistic skills. She's also a family doctor with all the medical knowledge that includes.
We both are pretty decent cooks.

Jamie likes to make art using quilting and collage techniques. She is a big reader.
