Hi everyone!
Its Tuba from Portugal. I hold degrees in both Sports Science and Educational Science. After completing my studies and participating in the Erasmus program, I developed a strong desire to explore different countries and engage in various cultures. This led me to Workaway, where between 2018 and 2020, I had the incredible opportunity to volunteer in a diverse range of projects. These included horse care, agriculture, zoo volunteering, childcare, teaching, and even theater, all of which were spread across multiple countries.
For the last four years, I have worked at Google, gaining invaluable experience in a professional and dynamic corporate environment. Despite the rewarding nature of my role, I have realized that I miss the hands-on, community-focused work I used to do. I’m now ready to take a break from the corporate world and return to volunteering projects that allow me to make a meaningful contribution while traveling and connecting with people from different walks of life.
Currently, I’m based in Portugal, where I work and live. I am eager to dedicate the next 6 to 12 months to new volunteer projects where I can bring my skills, enthusiasm, and dedication to the table. I am excited about the opportunity to re-engage with meaningful work that not only allows me to give back but also enriches my personal growth.
