    Description

    Hi Volunteer candidates ^^

I am offering an experience in the capital of my country.

I am a mechanical engineer (working %50 home-office) and also the director of a small theater group. We are doing improvised theater.

I started to be a volunteer when I was 17, 20 years ago. I traveled 26 countries and joined a lot of volunteer projects. I think now it is my turn to give back to the system and host other volunteers.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

In summer I can teach you wake boarding (Every weekend we are going on a different lake to do it)
In winter I can teach you snowboarding (Every weekend we are going on a different mountain to do it)
All year I can teach you salsa, bachata and kizomba (almost every night there is a dancing night around)
I am trying to learn yoga. If you are experienced, I would love to do it together. That is why my living room is like a studio with empty space.

I have different theater groups, improvise, English speaking theater and etc. You can try to help even join any of them.

Ankara is the capital and in the center of the country. You can travel in your 3 free days to see around. I will teach you a lot of Turkish cuisine. Me and my friends are really active people so you can't be bored ^^

  • Help

    Help

I need to fix rooms, build stuff and maybe invent projects. So if you have ideas for apartment, I would love to hear them.

But if you want to be a regular volunteer, conditions like this

I am asking for exactly 3 hours work, 4 days in a week. In exchange I will provide accommodation (No food)

    1 hour clean/tidy
    1 hour cooking (dinner)
    1 hour teaching/other

    Clean/Tidy:

My house is not so big. So cleaning is really easy. I am expecting to vacuum around every second day and doing laundry with machine. I will seperate things to do everyday so your work will be max 1 hour per day.

    Cooking:

I will try to prepare a weekly plan and buy the things we need. At the beginning I will show you how to do things but if you can cook (not boiling water adding pasta cooking) you are very welcome to cook your style. I love to try different culture foods. If food will cost more then one hour I will help you to make it shorter.
If this is a busy season and/or I don't have time to make a plan, I will personally handle your food stuation so no worries, no one will stay hungery :)

    Teaching:

I have a background for German, Russian and Spanish. I would like to learn also Japanese and Chinese. I am not looking for native speakers but I am expecting at least fluent speakers.

So if you can teach or practice German, Russian, Spanish, Japanese or Chinese that would be perfect ^^

My neighbor wants to practice English but she is a little stubborn about it (she is not so easy)

    Other:

For my projects and theater plays sometimes I can expect some small things to do instead of teaching.

You can earn pocket money in your free time easily since i live in the city center, I can help with that
