Hey, I'm Ellie! Im heading to Canada in Spring 2027 in the hopes to live and work closer to nature, gain some new skills and hopefully have some adventures along the way.

I'd say im quite a practical/creative person. I love doing little DIY projects and know very basic carpentry (keen to learn more!). I also like to draw and make crafts which I sell at local markets and independent shops. I love to be out in nature and would particularly love to be around horses.

I have previoudly done a couple of Workaways on ranches/communities and I love how varied the work is. From caring for animals to building eco structures, tending to a garden or welcoming guests. I really enjoyed it all and I'm happy to get stuck into whatever needs doing.

I love meeting new people, sharing stories and having a laugh. Equally though I do like to have my own down-time to recharge and I respect that of others too.

I would love the opportunity to experience some of your beautiful lands and in return will be a positive, hardworking, happy little Workawayer!

What else ...

I love nature and animals (particularly horses) - I think they are so healing. I love watching sunsets & sunrises especially if you can hear birds singing too. I love driving but also being the passenger on long, beautiful drives. I would love to learn to surf and ride a dirt bike. I also like reading, drawing, crafting, up-cycling, going for walks, finding waterfalls, having fires on wintery nights, going for the occasional boogie, yoga, eating nice food, spending time watching the waves. The last fun fact - I absolutely love the smell of cow/horse manure.
