My names Hannah, I am currently traveling around central and South America. I am planning to travel using work away to explore various eco projects , learn more about sustainability, growing , community projects etc. I was working as a mental health & learning disability support worker the UK.
I consider myself warm, friendly and a hard worker.
In my spare time i enjoy cooking, Ariel hoop, walking, music & art. I also enjoy running and spending at my allotment. I also love animals 🐈🦔🦡

I have experience working in health care working in mental health and experience working in cafes and restaurants. Previously i have volunteered at 'Food cycle'; a charity that uses surplus food to make meals for vulnerable people in need of a meal.
I volunteered at an animal sanctuary, helping feed the animals and learning about animal welfare. I would also like to learn more about sustainable living and organic farming whilst traveling. I feel i put 100% into whatever i do :).
I spent 6 months traveling around Europe in 2016 using work away helping on various projects, and so excited to be traveling again. I love learning new skills! I have been growing my own vegetables for the past 3 years and learning along the way.
I am happy to work on the land, cook, clean, paint and look after animals.

Raul and Mario are both lovely people. And so are all their friends. They have created a wonderful home.
I felt super relaxed and welcomed.
I was mainly helping with cleaning and painting a mural for the bedroom ✨ all the cats and dogs are gentle and sweet.

I was helping in the cafe and sometimes did cleaning.
Really nice hostel and there’s free use of the boards for volunteers. Hostel is soo close to the beach 🏝️

I was helping cook lunch for the family for one week. Then I house sat, looking after the garden and Simba, whilst the family went on holiday.
The Finca is truly beautiful. I saw monkeys and a sloth. There is so much nature and hiking around the area.

I loved my time at the hostel :) all the staff were very friendly and made me feel so welcome.
Really great location for exploring the waterfalls, volcano and the city.
I worked on reception, the bar and helped clean.

We looked after his 3 dogs, taking them on walks on the beach. We also looked after his Parrot.

I highly recommend staying with Dirk and Christine, they are both warm and kind people. I spent 2 weeks volunteering with them and a learnt a lot! The tasks were varied and always made enjoyable. This is a very relaxing place to stay and to volunteer at. The work is fair, work 5 hours a day for 6 days and then have the rest of your time to enjoy the beautiful surrounding area.
